Solidarity Challenge for Gaza: Milk for Life

In Gaza, thousands of mothers hold their children in their arms, unable to offer them anything to eat, watching as they slowly fade away and die. Their cries blend with the sound of bombings.

Hunger has become the language of pain: babies born malnourished, children losing their strength before learning to walk, families in despair as they face the helplessness of having nothing to feed them.

While the world keeps moving forward, childhood in Gaza slowly disappears. But there is still something we can do.

With this solidarity challenge, we want to raise funds to buy baby formula and bring a bit of hope to the smallest ones — those babies who need just a little nourishment to keep living, to keep dreaming.

Every donation, no matter how small, is a seed of life. A can of milk can mean one more day of strength, one more smile, a possible future.

Right now, a single can of baby formula costs $100, and families have no way to afford it.

The Gaza Formula Fund Foundation, with few resources but endless dedication, is working to deliver this vital food to as many babies as possible. So far, they have distributed more than 1,500 cans, but the humanitarian crisis and famine they are enduring continue to claim the lives of the most vulnerable every day.

Bombers Solidaris es un grup que es va formar a principis d'Abril de 2016 sota el paraigües de l'ACE de Bombers de Barcelona amb dos objectius, primer, disposar d'una font de finançament col·lectiva que pogués donar suport a totes les iniciatives solidaries que ja existeixen dins de bombers i segon, tenir un grup que aglutines tota aquesta força i que servís per crear sinergies entre els diferents projectes així com atraure més gent del col·lectiu a participar i animar-los a proposar noves iniciatives.

Aquest es el llistat de projectes que coordinem o amb els que col·laborem.

8. Suport als afectats per la Dana
9. Visites a hospitals infantils
10. Calendari Solidari de Bombers amb Causa
11. Campanyes del foment de la donació de sang
12. Qualsevols iniciativa que surti per part dels Bombers.
